Nutrition Coaching

As a WFPB Nutrition Coach, I will be your guide and mentor providing you with support and companionship as we work together towards your goals. Your growth begins and flows through you, your vision, and your commitment to change. We will start with an objective assessment of your current status, we’ll flesh out your aspirations both short and long-term, the gradual steps necessary along the way, and of course we will be flexible and adjust as we grow together.

Being your Coach holds me accountable to listen to your questions and concerns, your areas of strength and aspects in which you desire to grow, and most importantly how you feel throughout the process. Transitioning from a traditional Western to a WFPB lifestyle is changing more than just what you eat. You are literally changing the biochemistry of your body, which in turn will change how you feel mentally, physically, and emotionally. We will explore what food changes are easy and can be applied right away, then we’ll strategically plan how to substitute whole plants for the foods you never thought about giving up. Most importantly, we will discuss and track your emotional, mental, and physical state of being. Identifying stress is a key, both within yourself and external factors. We’ll do our best to minimize your burden is all aspects by simply using the, “drop in a bucket” approach. Rather than starting with a tidal wave of new information and changes, we will make sure your goals are 100% attainable and sustainable no matter how “small” they may seem. Over time your body will adjust to the new normal and give us cues that you are ready for more changes to your eating habits.

My overall goal, and dream really, is that you outgrow me as your Coach. You will have attained the required knowledge and learned enough about your body that you can continue down this path of whole plant foods without my guidance. I look forward to watching you excel to new heights in your chosen sport thanks to your dedication and the changes you have made, but the truest fulfillment lies in knowing we have formed a bond that has stretched both of us into better people. Yes, I am a Coach, but life lessons and genuine relationships are far more valuable than any athletic achievement.
